I started working with animals during summers in high school at a rural boarding kennel near my home in Blue Mounds. Since then, I’ve developed a true appreciation for all types of animals. Growing up, I had the opportunity to raise a variety of mammals, reptiles, and the occasional arachnid.

I’ve worked at the clinic for 3 years and can tell you, the animals staying here have the most caring, patient, and professional staff you can find. I wouldn’t trust my dog Diesel’s health with anyone but us. Dr. Lukas and Dr. Gordon are extremely knowledgeable vets. And more importantly, they’re fantastic people!

I am currently a junior AT UW Madison, intending to major in psychology with hopes of attending a masters program in counseling psychology.
 
I have been caring for boarders at the clinic for the past 4 years now and have enjoyed every minute of it. You can either find me upfront answering the phones, in the clinic assisting the veterinarians or in the kennel caring for your animals; I've learned to become very versatile here. My dogs, Riley and Nikki, have been coming to the clinic since they were pups and wouldn't trust their care to anyone but our great staff. I know whether they have a medical issue or I'm just going on vacation, they are in compassionate, experienced hands. The family-like atmosphere here has made my experience, both as an employee and a client, very comfortable.
